Best From… Jettblack – Raining Rock / Album Review
“Raining Rock” is the second studio album released in June by British new school band – Jettblack.
What you should know about Jettblack
Before you read anything here, I think that you should watch at least one of their 4 videos that Jettblack recorded so far. IMHO, their song along with video for “Two Hot Girls” is the best track recorded since the end of the 80s decade.
What is not surprise, they become more and more popular and there is no doubt that they are my biggest hope for British music.

“Raining Rock” album
You should know that, the “Raining Rock” album was released on 4th June 2012. It is their second studio album. The album release was preceded by the title track video that appeared on YouTube.
This time, their songs are much heavier, more spicy and less party-rock than “Get Your Hands Dirty”.
What is also interesting, believe me or not, visually (I mean CD cover and leaflet with all songs lyrics) this album kicks asses and it is really a masterpiece!
Title track, Raining Rock
On CD, there are 2 versions of this song: first – with original vocalist Will Stapleton and second additional track – with Udo Dirkschneider (member of Accept from 1976 to 1987) on vocals.
As regards video, it is ingenious and quite funny with Lord Zolton and “reality-show” formule, 😉
To compare with “Two Hot Girls” from previous album, I would rate this song 9/10.
Prison Of Love
The next song that should be featured is “Prison Of Love“. Video for this song was released almost one month ago and in compare with previous, it is only average. On the other hand, song in itself is musically on high-level.
In this place, I would like to highlight “Never Gonna Give It Up” (8/10), “The Sweet And The Brave” (8/10) and “Black Gold” (7/10).
Shortly, as a whole, it is one of the most interesting album in last few years. If their next albums will be as good as this or even better, they have a big chance to become one of the most prominent British hard rock bands.
