The popularity of the first part was more than surprising for me, so I decided to prepare next parts in shorter periods of time, because there are lots of new wave glam & sleaze metal bands,

Prologue
The list that I prepared with all bands I would like to feature is quite long. Some people said that I missed eg. Crashdïet, so to satisfy them, this time I’ll start from this band today. Let’s bring the glam metal back!
#1 Crashdïet (Sweden)
It’s clear that they’re veterans of glam metal and Crashdïet is probably the very, very first band that appeared in New Wave Of Glam Metal. They play since 2000. It’s worth to add that the first vocalist (Dave Lepard – first video below – It’s A Miracle) committed suicide in 2006
. He was replaced by Simon Cruz (appears in Generation Wild video below).
CRASHDÏET – It´s A Miracle
CRASHDÏET – Generation Wild
#2 De La Cruz (US)
Recently I received a message from Brian Wagner who reminded me of this band and its lead guitarist Casey Jones. To encourage you, here is a part of mail:
(…) They’re from the Gold Coast and formed about a year ago. They released their first EP in October and just signed with Frontier Records. They’re planning an international tour for 2013 and a full length album later this year. (…)
Casey Jones, their lead guitarist, is amazing! He has a lot of individual videos of himself playing on youtube as well.
Thanks Brian,
! I love this band because of its characteristic guitar sound.
De La Cruz – Back To The 80′s
De La Cruz – Lust Fame Money
#3 Gemini Five (Sweden)
They aren’t promoted enough, but I hope that it’d change in close future. They are from Sweden and play since 2001 and released 3 albums for now.
Gemini Five – When The Body Speaks
Gemini Five – You Spin Me Round
#4 Vains Of Jenna (Sweden)
Another band from Sweden. In this year(2012) band was ‘untied’ because lead vocalist ‘Jesse Forte‘ joined Lynch Mob. It’s a pity, they got a huge potential.
Vains Of Jenna – Enemy In Me
Vains Of Jenna – No One’s Gonna Do It For You
#5 Reverse Grip (Canada)
It’s the band formed by threee Canadian Broda brothers,
They’re planning an European Tour in November 2012. I recommend their last eponymous EP ‘NASTY REPUTATION‘ for which they recorded first sleazy video with real flavor of rock n’ roll sense,
Reverse Grip – Nasty Reputation
#6 Diemonds – Take On The Night (Canada)
First of all, Diemonds lead vocalist is a quite cute woman,
In this year, Diemonds are going to release their first album named ‘The Bad Pack‘, that’s promoted by 2 videos: “Take On The Night” and “Livin’ Tonight”.
Diemonds – Take On The Night
Diemonds – Livin’ Tonight
#7 Sunset Riot (Australia)
It’s the next band from Australia. Actually, they’re on US Tour. They become more and more famous,
Sunset Riot – Rattlesnake
Sunset Riot – Save Me From L.A.
#8 Santa Cruz (Finland)
They play very energetic & sleaze music. I love the guitar solos in “Anthem for the Young ‘n Restless” from 2:10. Yeahh, they got everything what’s best in glam metal.
Santa Cruz – Anthem for the Young ‘n Restless
Santa Cruz – Bootleg
#9 Shotgun Alley (New Zealand)
The last band today, they play both ballads and calm songs (IMHO, “Eventually” song sounds similar to Gotthard or Hinder) and faster louder songs. In 2011 they released their debut, self-titled album.
Shotgun Alley – Can’t Stop This
Shotgun Alley – Eventually
