I was recently searching for any new bands who plays glam metal and now in a few parts I’d like to present the results and feature the most promising revival glam bands, :)

All parts

Prologue

The order of the song is coincidental, maybe you’ve heard them before – but it seems that’s the first post who summaries and features glam metal bands that writes and creates completely new songs, so there won’t be any covers here. Let’s bring the glam back!

#1 Nasty Habit (US)

What’s the best thing in Saturday Night and this song? Well, I love the way how they mixed and gathered all best things from eighties music. :D Actually they recorded only one video and one eponymous studio album.

Nasty Habit – Saturday Night

#2 The Last Vegas (US)

Now, a piece of decadence. They’re mostly influenced by Mötley Crüe, but it’s barely visible it in their music, so rather sleaze than glam. The Last Vegas become gradually more and more popular and with the last studio album ‘Whatever Gets You Off‘ (2009) produced by Nikki Six (Mötley Crüe basist) that was rated very positively, they have big chances.

The Last Vegas – The Other Side

The Last Vegas – Apologize

#3 Jettblack (UK)

And now something different, maybe it sounds quite poppy – but it really smashes, take a look at lyrics and lots of chicks in video :) Video is perfect and even my friends who don’t like glam metal as a whole loved this song, ;)
By the way, in the next month Jettblack is going to put out the next album that’s named ‘Raining Rock‘.

Jettblack – Two Hot Girls

#4 Bad City (US)

The next band, that makes a lot of noise. In 2010, they released their first, debut and only album named ‘Welcome To Wasteland‘ and it peaked #182 on Billboard 200 1. By the way, it seems that lead vocalist has polish origins because of his last name – ‘Cyganowski’.

Bad City – Take Me For A Ride

#5 Wildstreet (US)

Probably the sleaziest band here, :) They’re videos are masterpieces and I can’t imagine that something might be more suitable for Eric Jayk’s voice. They really got extra-ordinary music and visual style, ;) wow! The ‘density’ of hot chicks inside the video for ‘Easy Does It’ is impressive!

Wildstreet – Easy Does It

Wildstreet – Poison Kiss

#6 HART (Norway)

And now the freshest band from Norway – they didn’t have enough time to make more publicity, but I wish them a lot of successes, :) I recommend to visit their official site, that was recently launched.

HART – Rock Me

#7 Reckless Love (Finland)

It seems that the band is better known in Europe (Reckless Love was also founded in Finland). It’s rather pop/glam than metal, but there’s no doubt that they bring a lot of attention to the whole genre as a spectacular and untypical band, ;)

Reckless Love – Hot

Reckless Love – Beautiful Bomb

#8 Steel Panther (US)

To finish the first part, according to charts Steel Panther is the most popular band among the others band in this post, maybe because they recorded 3 studio albums and band was founded in 2003. IMHO, they’re very close to restore the original climate from 80s, although in fact they parody glam metal :D :D . The band is widely recognized by lot of glam metal music lovers, ;)

BTW, ‘Death To All But Metal‘ video is very similar to ‘Girlschool‘ by Britny Fox and ‘I Wanna Rock‘ by Twisted Sister.

Steel Panther – Community Property
