Band Of The March ’12 – Blue Murder
And again Blue Murder, 😉 This time, there won’t be so much to write, because this band was founded very late in 80s and collapsed very early in 90s.
By the way, I’d like to highly recommend a non-profit Radio ‘Jungle‘, that features glam metal songs every Monday from 9 to 11 PM.
Short Bio Notice
Hmm, in fact it’s very difficult to find some more than residual information about ‘Blue Murder‘. So, what you should know about them? Band was formed quite late in 1988 by John Sykes (played with Thin Lizzy before Blue Murder and after its split), he was the biggest source of band commercial success, but in the long run – it wasn’t enough. Blue Murder released two studio albums and in 1994 they split up, 🙁
- John Sykes – lead vocals, guitar
- Carmine Appice – drums
- Tony Franklin – bass
- Nik Green – keyboard
Debut album – 1989
The first eponymous album was released in 1989 – it was a huge success, #69 on Billboard 200. What’s more they recorded a few very interesting videos:
One of the songs placed in this album was described
Blue Murder – Jelly Roll
Blue Murder – Valley Of The Kings
Blue Murder – We All Fall Down
Second album – Nothin’ but Trouble (1993)
And the second album, which was released 4 years after the first one. Just like another albums released in this years, it didn’t get much popularity.
Blue Murder – She Knows
Blue Murder – Save My Love
