This is a special song for a special occasion, tomorrow Jon Bon Jovi celebrates his 50th birthday anniversary, I hope that tomorrow I’ll prepare separate article about it.
When?
This fuck**g great song was released with another awesome Bon Jovi top-track (Livin’ On A Prayer) in 1986 on ‘Slippery When Wet‘ album, which was in my humble opinion the most powerful release put out by Bon Jovi ever.
Who?
- Jon Bon Jovi – lead vocals & rhythm guitar
- Richie Sambora – guitar
- Alec John Such – bass
- Tico Torres – drums
- David Bryan – keyboards
‘You Give Love A Bad Name’ popularity
To say, that this song was very popular is absolutely restraint,
First of all, it’s placed as 20th Best Hard Rock song by VH1 1. Further, it peaked #1 on Billboard 200 2.
As a curiosity, as I’m Polish I remember when 6 years ago polish pop-singer covered this song in such shameful way – I bet that you’ll know what I mean after you listen to her cover – it’s called pejoratively ‘disco-polo’, LOL.
Let’s back to the true music,
