6 Love & Romantic Glam/Hair Metal Songs

14th of February (omg!), maybe nowadays this holiday is becoming more and more commercial, but who cares — I’m gonna to show some romantic songs — it was very difficult choice

I dedicate this set for all girls, who had broken my heart in past

Prologue

In fact 90% of glam metal songs is about women and love, some of them are sad (there are lots of power ballads for those with broken hearts), some of them are more energetic and happier, but they’re still about love. That’s the main reason why I always loved to listen glam metal, but ‘love’ was always most popular song theme.

#1 Queensryche — Silent Lucidity

I’ve noticed those song a long, long time ago, but I started to listen it only last week (by accident). It’s hard to say, if this is sad or optimist song, but the video for this is ass-kicking.

#2 Mr Big — To Be With You

This song is also very sensuous, but it’s was recorded in 1991, maybe it’s not glam metal strict, but ‘To Be With You’ is very interesting. Moreover, song is classified to acoustic rock.

#3 Firehouse — Love of a lifetime

Well, sorry for this, but this song was released in 1991 too, happily there’s no doubt that it’s pure glam metal. I love this song, because it makes me cry — it’s one of my most favorite songs. BTW, Firehouse was one of the last glam metal bands, and gained popularity in early 90′s, when another bands were collapsing and losing on popularity.

#4 White Lion — Tell Me

I described recently this band, personally I don’t like this song, but maybe you will — it’s very popular. On the other hand all their videos are awesome, check it!

#5 Damn Yankees — High Enough

In this case, this song is the only one which I like from all recorded by Damn Yankees. A video for this is great, but the best thing (in my humble opinion) is refrain — it’s so fuck**g melodic.

#6 WASP — Hold On To My Heart

And the last one, I guess that this is the gentlest song recorded by W.A.S.P. — video and whole composition is very original and I admire it.
